College Admission Tests

College admission tests are the ACT (American College Test) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)  While most colleges use either test for admission and scholarships, it is best to check with the college of your choice to determine which one is required.

 The ACT is now given 7 times a year.  Registration is all online and costs $50.50 this year.  Your child may qualify for a fee waiver.  Please contact the guidance office for information on how to get this waiver.  The ACT site is user-friendly and has information on test preparation, test content, as well as, other great tools.  The student can register anywhere, anytime.  Please click on this link to get all the information on the ACT test: https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act.html

The Alabama State Department of Education will be paying for all of the juniors to take the ACT test one time this year.  The test for the juniors will be February 20 and will be held during the school day for our students.

Holly Pond High School is a test site for the ACT and our test site code is: 234980

The SAT
