Holly Pond High School Library Schedule 2016-2017

  • The Library opens at 7:15 am for circulation and research and closes each day at 3:15.

  • The Library has an open and flexible schedule and is open for student use the entire day.

  • Teachers may schedule the library for class use on a first come first serve basis and the library can accommodate two classes at a time.

  • Holly Pond High School offers Dual Enrollment classes in all four core subjects and the Dual Enrollment students use the library throughout the day to access Blackboard, research, type and print papers, and submit work for college credit.

  • Planning, clerical, and administrative duties are also performed on a flexible schedule.

  • ACCESS and Credit Recovery students meet in the library throughout the day.

  • The Library also accommodates many extra activities, e.g. Blood Drive, ASVAB testing, ASPIRE, Work Keys, etc.

  • The Library provides problem solving and strategy games (Chess, Rook, Jenga, etc.) for students to unwind and to feel comfortable in an inviting environment.

  • Students have access to the OPAC and ebooks through the Library website :  24 hours a day.

  • The Library is used for faculty meetings and Early Release Wednesdays for data meetings and Professional Development.
