Guidance

"Begin with the End in Mind"

College ready and work ready are our essential topics to help guide students.  As our students prepare to leave high school, it is a directive from the Alabama Department of Education to instill in every graduate the need to know the importance to be prepared for college and employment. Various tools will be used to guide the students, such as the ACT test, Pre ACT, Kuder Interest Inventory,  the WorkKeys test, and Scantron.  It is also encouraged for each child to have a career pathway to follow throughout the four years of high school.

It is our desire at Holly Pond High School to be a catalyst of support for each graduate to enable each one to have the future he or she chooses.

This webpage will be a tool to give information on colleges, employment, and scholarships.
At the bottom, please find scholarship applications and other documents of support.
