Following today's National Weather Service briefing, Dr. Barnette has decided to have a remote learning day on Friday, March 3, 2023. Cullman County will be under a rare high wind warning beginning tomorrow. We are expecting sustained winds 30-40 MPH with gusts 50-60 MPH, well above safe operating conditions for school buses. The NWS says to expect - and be prepared - for downed trees and power outages. Students will be provided assignments to complete tomorrow.

EGGS are Pricey!!! You shouldn't have to worry about that if you come to our 8$ Pancake Breakfast Buffett tomorrow at the Scout House from 6 am to 10 pm. It might go longer if we have a crowd! This breakfast is to support our Quarterback Club. Please support our school and kids but eating with us tomorrow morning from 6 am to 10 am and getting yourself some breakfast Buffett. Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Pancakes, tea, juice, coffee, and fellowship. SATURDAY 2/25/2023

Due to the risk of severe weather, Cullman County Schools will be remote again tomorrow. (Thursday 2/16/23). There is a strong possibility for tornadoes and I believe that parents should be able to make the decision to carry their children to a storm shelter as needed. If storms are not in our area students should use this time to catch up on any school work or spend time practicing their reading. Thank you and please stay safe. - Shane Barnette

TOMORROW we honor Johan Rodriguez with a fundraiser hat day at ALL Vinemont Schools and show our support for him and his family by collecting $1 for all students to wear a hat and by all wearing GRAY! Good morning, Vinemont High School's top priorities are student academic performance and student safety. One change in our everyday procedures to protect our students and their academic time is to return to the Cullman County Policy on students checking out of school. Students can only check out if a parent or guardian physically comes to campus and checks them out or if they bring a note to our secretary before the first period of the day with their reason for checking out and the parent's signature. Parents can no longer call and check out their students. In the case of any true emergency, parents can always call and the principal will approve the request. This will take affect next week 9/22/22
